I have no knowledge of the approach taken at the Harrods shopping
But I know that the current focus on consumer awareness on grasping the significance of the mark (brand) is the center of attention
Because if the consumer realized the brand value of the institution or the brand realized win
My answer is all the four options mentioned by you. Though Direct mailing is their principal marketing tool, as Harrods is a up market store serving niche segment. Their customers are elite and affulent therefore a personal connection is very significant. However Harrods would apply all marketing tools to be visible to their loyal as well as prespective customers.
