Jurisdiction is a word much in vogue today. We often hear people claim that so and so has the power to assume a role or position. What do you think is meant by competence to achieving the quality of task or activity?

I believe competence is a combination of knowledge and skill which can be earned from experiences.

experiences can form the knowledge and knowledge is a base for experience.
