What is the purpose and importance of an invoice while delivering goods either domestically or internationally?

This is very important question. a. We have two types of delivery 1. Local Purchased Order.  2. Purchased Order as per law of International LC Documents. 

a.   So Local delivery we received by our daily consumable items and we now the vendors. And the                    Delivery note is issued because of Partial  material delivered and when its completed as per LPO                order than  issue the Invoice from the client.

b.   International material, We received all the documents form the vendor such as Bill of Lading / Origin of

      Certificate /  Shiftment - Cosignment Details / LC documents for port Clearance.  

So to the question is important we need the Bill of Invoice  to submit our  Bank for the payment or Bank Guarrenty to show on the port for clearance and accept our delivery material.

Invoice is not only a copy of proof, but also a commercial document, which indicates who sells it to and who buys it, at what price, how much qty, mode of transport, discounts, taxes, date of shipment and payment terms.

Also in few types of invoices, it serves as a demand for payment.

Hence it is record or document depending upon the type and it is very much mandatory in the yearly financial audit of a company to verify the transactions.
