Because we live in a world where people are indoctrinated by governments who have their teachers teach people to all think the same and act like sheep. People are taught to repeat lines over and over again to remember things instead of being taught to analyse and reason and use logical thinking or be imaginative and innovative. We teach people to believe what they are told rather than to think or argue about something. When people do think and show originality we judge and criticize them.
