What are the things we need to do to identify which career is best suited for us?

Make a compromise between the needs expressed by companies in the field of employment and my needs, desires in the field of assignment to a position

- Assess my potential

- Analyze the present situation in the current position taking into consideration the effectiveness and knowledge

- Locate my abilities, my current and future skills

- Assess the likely potential derived from the performance curve

- Identify the points where an improvement seems necessary or desirable in another position or another area,

- Assess my competence and intellectual abilities

- Evaluate my knowledge

- Evaluate the changes for which I should be arranged for to enter the new features better suited to my possibilities

- Improve my knowledge and my level through training and internships

- To take assessment tests to check my skills

- self evaluation

- To take courses

Please remember the quote " Where there is will, there is a way". It is said easier than to follow.

Identifying a right career is difficult because we are confused right from our early days by over excessive guiding parents, teachers, friends, family and society. I am using the word over excessive guiding, because our society, family, parents, teachers are not analyzing the children's skill and interest before deciding the right career for them. They go by society trend, family and friends advise and what they see from the world.

From our early days, we are brought up in this culture and even in our early twenties, many of us are unsure of our skills and interest and more importantly what will be our career.

But to decide on right career, I cannot give you a solution, but i can give you few tips  to arrive at a solution.

Please think about your skills, where you are good at and where you are lacking and what is your interest?

Based on the interest and your current skill level, match them with the market skill requirement ( if you want you can take advise of your mentor while matching current market requirement and fine tune the same)

List out the gaps and make a road map for closing the gap. My advise is your road map should align with the work you want to get and inputs you want to learn and atleast it should be done for the next  5 years.

Hopeful that this way you can atleast have some clarity if not a solution for your career.

Just we need to review our personal experience, academic background and sort of skills we have then we can target the job relevant to our area of expertise.

what you study your experiences persons wish and market requirements 

It depends on the wishes of the person and the specialization and expertise

We have to know where we stand in the job market.  Now a day we have tomuch experience persons.  So we must select our main position and what you like to achieve the goal in your position is the 1st step to select your furture in life.
