Few ways to motivate my team
Understand each team member’s goals
Taking an interest in what team members want to work towards both personally and professionally is a tremendous thing to do when it comes to motivating staff. Try to sit down and have a meeting with my team. Ask them about their professional goals. Then, try to help them achieve these goals. Check in with my team periodically, send them interesting links that are relevant to their aims, suggest training courses – all of this will give my team a feeling that their goals are being worked toward.
Set goals with rewards
My team being in Real estate industry has to work on weekends and holidays. Once these goals are hit, I make sure there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Rewards are set in manner that they feel good and are happy such as Success party, team picnic, and family holiday voucher
Appreciation Beats out Money
More money may make team happy for a moment but appreciation sticks to team for a long time. So I am sure I do that
Treat Them like Partners
The biggest motivator for most employees is to be treated like partners in your business. Have regular meetings, listen to their opinion and more importantly share information with them.
Nothing is more powerful than sharing information with team and involving them in the decision making process.
