In Automation & PLCs system, What DCS are you recommended to start learning and is there any prerequisites info?

In automation & PLCs, noramlly we should know the basic of control system,

when we know the control system then any langage knowledge like ladder logic, STL, or C+ langauge will be helpful.

All above mentioned are used in companies;

You should have basic idea of programming ( doesn't mean u  should know programming language like C, JAVA etc. these are are not required),. you must be able for constructing basic structural process that how to get to the solution of required program..... and should have knowledge about logic gates, basic electricals( concept of switches, series & parallel combinatins etc. )

In my present Company we are using ABB (ABB advanta 500) systems. One tool that you should learn is the PID controller (Proportional, Integral, and Derivative).attached with the system, Easy to understand and operte.
