What is difference between QA, QC and Software Testing?

QC like fish in ocean. fish is the feature of the product and the ocean is a QA it means system.

fish is a part of ocean it means QC is apart of QA but we need QA to survive QC.

QA (Quality Assurance): An activity that estblishes and evaluate the processes to produce the products.

QC(Quality Control): An activuty which verifiies if the product meets predefined standards.

Software testing: An activity used to detect and identify faults and failures in a piece of software, so it's a part of QA and QC.

Quality Control: A set of activities designed to evaluate a developed work product. Testing: The process of executing a system with the intent of finding defects.

QA related to system and procedures, QC related to inspection for the defects and testing is commissioning of the program to identify unnoticed problems

QC is used to verify the quality of the output.

QA is process the managing for quality.

Achieving success in a project require both QA and QC.

QA : it is process related activity and it is a preventive activity

QC : it is product related activity and it is corrective activity

Testing belongs to QC which is a part of QA

QA is a process of ensuring the quality of the software development procedure whereas Software testing is the process of ensuring the quality of software product. QC or Quality Center is a tool using for software test management.

Quality Assurance makes sure that you are doing the right things in the right way that is the reason it is always comes under the category of verification activity.

Quality Control makes sure that whatever we have done is as per the requirement means it is as per what we have expected, that is the reason it is comes under the category of validation activity.

QC - Quality Control : Process to ensure the quality of the built product. QC activities targets to find the defects in the finished product

QA - Quality Assurance : Process to ensure the quality in the product which is being build.

Software Testing : Testing a software against requirement specification to ensure the application is defect free. Includes functional, inegration, sanity, ad-hoc, system, regression testing etc

Quality Assurance is nothing but a positive declaration on a product or service, which gives confidence.

Quality Control is to maintain that positive declaration which you have made about the product.

Software testing is an activity to check whether the software system is defect free or not.
