My Dear Rima, heartfelt thanks for the invitation.

Following are some simple tips which can help you speak English fluently:

1. Try to speak in English with your Professors, Class-fellows, Friends, Colleagues and don't bother at all of your verbal mistakes; just keep in mind that the people who are very good at English, were once themselves the beginners, they learnt this language with effort, and so you can. Always remind yourself that "TO ERR IS HUMAN" and "PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT."

2. Try to grasp the "Sentence formation", once you learn how to make a sentence, you can leran English easily.

3. Try to watch good English Documentary films and you will learn the exact pronunciation of different words.

4. When alone at home, speak loudly in English, be it your Lesson or some words you learnt from internet, or some English documentary you just watched.

Hope, the above-mentioned simple techniques will enable you speak English fluently even in a non-English environment. Cheers

If you want to develope your English skills you should:

Watch English films(with and without subtitles), English programs BBC, CNN etc, (even if you do not understand the full film).

Read English books: learn vocabulary

This will help you in case you already are  a Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate or Upper Intermediat level person. If not take English class for beginners or for Elementary level students.

Television and youtube are great for learning how words are spelled or pronounced. Just watch any show or movie withou subtitles and try to say back everything they say.

Practicing listening will make you half way in the process of learning English.

Speaking is a language skill that needs to be practised in order to learn it fully. It is better to study a language in its environment, but people also can learn a language away from the environment. An imaginary environment could be created; whereas practice remains the core issue.

This question has been previously asked in this forum, so, you may consult previous posts. For this post, I completely agree with Ms Farhana Siddique and add that her suggestions are time-tested and succesful. The only point I'd like to add is that you must shed your inhibitions and mental blocks in approaching teachers and other helpful people. Many learners fail to make progress because of diffidence and "what would others feel if I am wrong" kind of thinking.
