When you're speaking in public, do you think that clothes and grooming are as much important as your communication skills ?

The clothes are important because when you dress conservatively it does mean that you respect the others and this is vital, second the nature and the qualities of your communicatrion are more important than clothes as in the first of your meeting people concentrate in you clothes and finaly in your talks

No of course not.  If a public speaker mumbles incoherently in a language not spoken by the audience, it doesn't matter what clothes are being worn.

To me, self-grooming as well as communication skills both are important while speaking in public, but Communication Eloquence carries More Weight.

Sometimes, we are not clad in our best formal dress, but people know that we are good speakers, and at that particular time, irrespective of our dressing, they just care about the words which we have to deliver.

People would never listen to a speaker who is dressed up marvelously but speaks poorly, rather they would rush up to an Eloquent Communicator even if he/she is not dressed up elegantly.

Ofcoursre it matters but consider this scenario where you have become a public leader and a revolutionary a visionary you are standing in public talking about common cause in such situation would it be suitable for a formal attire .... so it depends .. yus appearancedpes matters but there are conditions phases which once you passes all that is left is your vision and your will towards its execution
