1. Make it personal: Liking

- Establish a personal relationship

- Find similarities with the ones you want to build mutual trust

- Use social media to find commnalities

2. Listen closely and be curious

- Perceive things that are important to your client.

- Ask open-ended questions

- Followup and sum up important things and decisions made

3. Be present and communicate

- Try to be present 

- Be accssible and give pdates on a regular base

- Try to share good ideas and helpful resources

4. Stick to your words, be CONSISTENT

- Most important: Act consistently

- Never promise what you cant deliver.

- If you promise something, stick to it.

5. Address problems, be HONEST

- Don't play games

- Don't try to hide problems

- Address the problem as early as possible

6. DO NOT Gossip Around

- Don't tell secrets

- Don't gossip about clients 

- Be loyal

I agree with you Gopal. Also, let me put forward some more on this.

The trust is the platinum standard of service. It is the clue that keeps customers coming back. The customer’s faith in your word; belief in your promises are what saves you in those difficult times when everything seems to be going wrong. Building trust is a succession of positive experiences and certainly not over night. Least we shall ensure FAIR deal that leads to trust building.

They have the outcome they expected – they get what they asked for

The process of getting that was painless

You kept the performance promise you made

You treat them ethically - no bait & sneaky behaviour  

You acknowledge their unique wishes if any

Their best interests are placed ahead of the company’s convenience
