In my point of view, the HR objective is to allign the employees to the organisational objectives. simply, all the HR techniqes and, strategies and tools are just to achieve the organisational objectives; this will even includes employes retention or satisfaction.

HR objective are the specific objectives that are mostly derived from the organization's basic / General objectives so that the HR streategies could be aligned with the organization's strategies and ensuring effective and efficient use of Human recources (Employees) of the organization to achieve the overall Goals of the organization.
HR objectives should be to achieve Organisational excellence through focus on learning, quality, teamwork and creating an entirely new role and agenda that focuses not only on traditional HR activities such as staffing and compensation but on outcome i.e. the results that enrich theOrganisation’s value to customers, investors and employees.
