Using management applications that streamline workflow is a good idea to promote efficient time management. I'd like to suggest trello - a software used to manage both individual and team workflows. It organizes tasks into a set of cards where one can pick up and move towards another column when one is finished with the task. This provides transparency to the team and with everyone knowing what each of them is doing and what to do next, ultimately time is saved.
Calendar apps are your best friend. You must plan, update your calendar and just make it sure that your activities are slave to calerndar. with a little effort it would be your habit and then it goes automatic
