You can't be "the perfect leader". It's impossible, so don't try.
Instead, try to be a slightly better leader tomorrow than you were yesterday. If you do that every day, and succeed more often than not, then in a year's time you will be a much better leader than you are now.
This process is called 'incremental improvement' and is a very powerful technique in many contexts.
