What do these navigation "Data + Remove Duplicates" do in Excel?

Removes duplicate values from selected sheet

Hi,

A very intresting button i use a lot. When you select number of cells and push this button all the duplicate items are removed and only of instance of each is kept like if your slection is :A,A,B,B,B,C.C,D after applying this you will have A,B,C,D and all the other cells will be blank.
