I agree with the Ahmad AlHadeed.
I always try and try again to get respect from my employer, but they don't see. But my supervisor and my co-workers respect me for the hard and smart work I do. From this experience, I say it differs from one level to another in the company (management vs department). Most probably it is because I am in a small company.

Respect is earned, not given. Love is an emotional state, and is therefore less relevant to business relationships. Gaining the respect of others will not happen overnight, but once earned respect will have people listening to what you say.
At work, to be effective, to persuade based on sound principles, to inspire others to follow, you need respect. Perhaps, in time, respect can turn to love - but first is respect. To have a clear conscience one needs to know that your decisions are based on the best basis, a respected basis, not because you demanded people love you or show loyalty.

To earn love and respect the simple recipe is to respect others and to be passionate in serving and enabling others to complete their tasks.
If you give respect to others and help them to achieve their goals, people will eventually love you and respect you100%
