led is expansive because, led is the future of light,, we now got a switch from the old light bulb to led, there is a marketing thing going on. you also can not say that led is so ''expansive'' because you pay for the name. i just know a lot company's that arend expansive and have great products.
but i do agree that led is more expansive than the conventional lighting fixtures, but that is a mix between marketing and also lifetime of the led fixtures
because LED is a new technology. and we use it to save energy and its looks so beautiful then conventional lighting fixtures. that way LED is expensive.
