nowadays, HR department philosophy has been changed to be a real partner for different business units by decreasing cost of hiring, coaching staff, increasing employees morale and focus on professional procedures and processes all will affect the P&L of the company
the most reasonable example is Balanced score card , how the employee's morale can affect the satisfaction of shareholders, by increasing learning and growth perspective in employees and have written processes as internal business process perspectives will affect customer satisfaction values which will affect the financial perspectives all will lead for higher share holders satisfaction by increasing profit margin
Nowadays, HR is a strategic partner of other departments, projects and programs due to allign the organizational goals and objectives as well as retain the potential employees for the organization.
Definelty Mr. Ajay, HR is one the core division who influence the P&L of the firm. Now the question is how? I am recruiting for various Business Unit Managers who runs certain portfolios to earn profit. Here my role is to keep on hunting and searching for best talent and support business head in selection of most suitable candidates who then run those portfolios. Who earns those P&L?
