How you store Cement in site?

Elevated platform with covered PVC/Polythene sheets over. Staging of cement bags should not exceed 10bags over. Store room should be dry and water proof.

Cement bags should be stored on a container vans or shaded area, stacked atleast 150mm above the base or ground and covered with plastic or tarpaulins to avoid rainwater to penetrate on it. Make sure that the area is always dry because cement will hardens with moisture presence on the area.

IF WAREHOUSE IN NOT AVAILABLE CEMENT SHOULD BE STORED AT TEMPERATURE NOT BELOW 25 DEG. CENT. SHOULD BE ABOVE THE GROUND AND MUST BE LAID ON A WOOD CRATE. COVER WITH BURLAP PROPERLY.
