What are Private Laws?

All Civil laws are nothing but private laws, otherwise except criminal and constitutional laws which are public laws.

Any dispute between individuals as a person (natural or artificial) to determine rights are generally a civil law which is nothing but a private law.

So any property laws, Matrimonial disputes, succession related, etc are all civil laws therefore private laws.
