Graphic artists, like all artists, create works that are born from or meant to convey an emotion or feeling, or are meant to set a mood. Professional graphic artists simply use their creations in a commercial way. Graphic artists craft scenes and images using visual media such a photographs drawings, and computer-generated images. These are used on everything from tissue boxes to the walls of buildings. Their work is used to market products and ideas.
Graphic DesignersGraphic designers solve visual communication problems with images and text. The key goal of graphic designers is to convey a message that causes the viewer to take some kind of action. This could mean getting a website visitor to move his eyes down the page or causing a consumer to identify with a logo or symbol. Artistic appeal is secondary to function, and the layout is meant to lead the eye in a natural sequence.
Similarities and DifferencesGraphic artists sometimes use words in their creations, though any words are meant to underscore the image's emotional content. Likewise, many graphic designers are artists who often use graphic art to enhance their designs. The main difference between them, other than the purpose of the image, is that while artists may or may not have the final image mapped out ahead of time, graphic designers plan everything, from the font and placement of letters to color theory.
Graphic art is more comprehensive than graphic design, thats because the graphic design is interested to delivering the idea of the mark or design to whom reseved directy, simply and frankly, by drawing tools spaces, dimensions, letters and shapes, so it is limited by the customer's idea.
While the creativity of graphic art is a comprehensive expression of the emotions, feelings and ddreams of artist, reality and society, by freely ways and different styles.

Graphic design
is the process of visual communication and problem-solving using one or more of typography, photography and illustration. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term "graphic design" is used synonymously. Graphic designers create and combine symbols, images and text to form visual representations of ideas and messages. They use typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to create visual compositions. Common uses of graphic design include corporate design (logos and branding), editorial design (magazines, newspapers and books), wayfinding or environmental design, advertising, web design, communication design, product packaging and signage.
, graphic art
covers a broad range of visual artistic expression, typically two-dimensional, i.e. produced on a flat surface. The term usually refers to the arts that rely more on line or tone than on color, especially drawing and the various forms of engraving; it is sometimes understood to refer specifically to printmaking processes, such as line engraving, aquatint, drypoint, etching, mezzotint, monotype, lithography, and screen printing (silk-screen, serigraphy). Graphic art further includes calligraphy, photography, painting, typography, computer graphics, and bindery. It also encompasses drawn plans and layouts for interior and architectural designs.
Interior Design
Is the total layout and design of the interior spaces, ie includes the design of everything inside the building. Which aims to harness the material, spiritual and social needs of man
A graphic artist is generally a fine artist working in a graphic or digital medium. Their creative education may vary from self-taught to short-term certificate training to trade school education. In a commercial setting, a graphic artist typically executes the ideas of other senior staff. Also, the complexity of the projects a graphic artist will work on will be much simpler than the projects handled by more senior creative professionals.
Graphic Designer:A graphic designer is a visual communicator who assembles into a visually pleasing and organized arrangement all of the images, typography, or motion graphics required to solve or complement a marketing challenge. The items designed are primarily for published, printed or electronic media. A graphic designer will have a two or four year collegiate degree in graphic design or advertising where they studied color theory, art history, composition, typography and more. He or she will have also mastered all of the graphics software required of the job and title; and could have anywhere from 1-5 years of experience all the way up to 20 years or more.
From Academic perspective, Art is more personal and emotional related process with more freedom of creativity in subject AND media while Design is based more on commercial visual communication. Both theories are similar and often intertwined in practice. If we add the therm Graphic to it, it gives both a dimension of specific media crafts called Graphics.
The difference lays in the objectives behind the design itself.
like the graphic art has an individual self driven objective, on the other hand we find the graphic design has to answer the needs of an outsider objectives related to a specific target audience.
Technically : the graphic design needs to resample and communicate a specific message, meanwhile the graphic art might not follow any direction but to express and caption an emotional tendency of the artist.
For me, the main difference will be the purpose. Graphic Art, as the term implies is an art, an expression of oneself, while Graphic Design is a solution to a problem, usually of others, a client.
A Graphic Artist will not create his art for others, but for himself, not minding what others will think of his art. A Graphic Designer on the other hand, creates his design based on the needs or problems of his client, with an intended audience in mind.

Graphic Design and Graphic Arts have so many different points. But both of them have many simple and near bases as materials and tiles or methods and of course principles.
Art is the soul of every design. Without the soul, you will never connect with any design.
