I would definitely choose Estimation Engineer job because by completing a process of estimation, it means the quantity is already been taken.
In my opinion I will prefer both because both are related to each other that is Qauntity If you are able to evaluate Quantity then it become more simple to you to estmate also however the responsibilities increased little bit more jointly but both are the most Important factor to any organisation.
Quantity suveyor just because you will get the exact fingure of the project of each component.
I prefer both this kind of job are just the same,to be an Estimator i can compute structure by just looking on it, but to be a Quantity surveyor i need to know the exact price / amount of the materials, i need to study the plan and compute every corner of the structure which include Electrical, Mechanical and other components.
Estimation engineer is better as it covers a lot of things in comparison to quantity surveyor which is only related to Material take off in construction industry.
It is suitable for having done this works in my entire carreer
I prefer te quantity surveying at site
If know about quantity can dealing with the estimate
In my opinion, a Project Estimator Job is more suitable to me. I got almost a 5 year hands on site experience working in Multi-Storey & Villa Project. After this, i was deputed in the Tendering / Estimation works. I could understand not only the Tendering (design) requirements but also the practical site requirements which are not mentioned in the BOQ.
i prefer pipline project do estimate and quantity survey
