What are the roles of line managers and employees in job analysis?

Managers should be prepared to provide all information related to the roles within their department, ex. duties of different roles, expected required knowledge, skills, management of budgets etc.

Employees do not have an active role at this stage, but can participate if required in order to provide additional information and specifications.
