I want to use desktop application from different location . so what are the possibilities to use this application like port forwarding etc ?

There are many ways of accessing application from remote site. VPN is the best. or you may configure application/web server to access the apps from remote locations as well.

You can use TEAMVIEWER but it should be downloaded on every system you want to use.
