  1. Select the cell that you want.
  2. Click Insert Function on the Standard toolbar.
  3. Under Or select a category, click User Defined.
  4. In the Select a function list, click SpellNumber, and then click OK.
  5. Enter the number or cell reference that you want, and then click OK.

Yes, using TEXT funtion. Its syntax is

=TEXT(Value, Format)

 

Value can be constant or cell reference

 

Example 

1. =TEXT(345, "0") 

returns 345. cell format will be text. You can see it left aligned. Numbers are Right aligned.

 

Alternative way without using function

Select the cell(s) containing number(s) , Right-Click to access short cut menu, Select Format Cells, From the Category list select Text , Click OK button
