For me, I prefer the early morning meeting. It allows me to make sure that everyone is on top of their assignments, and it also gives time to add any new required tasks.
Once a week or so, the after work meeting can be held, but this meeting has different agenda. It will usually be more related to performance and guidance.
For every meeting there is a topic to be tackled, we need to prioritize the things that you must do before going to work ,if for instances there are some meetings need to be address to your team and gather there opinions and better ideas before we proceed to meeting. Furthermore there are some instances or situation that you need to meet them first in order to update your team with regards to any matter related to them. On the hand there is some meetings that you can discuss as well during working hours as long as it is related to your company.
Based on my experience are much better to had a tool box meeting before the work start in the morning to keep the workers has direct information about the jobs and about safety regulations.
It's Better to be afternoon meeting because it is a suitable time to do that.
Morning hours with the whole team, this will enable the team give feedback on challenges faced, discuss task ahead, find solutions and share the goals and tasks of the day. An evening should be done with the foreman, just for straight quick updates.
I every thing,meeting determine the importance of a topic to be laid down.in a case where the matter is urgent and needs to be spoken out during working hours,we can't stop all the workers from duty.the best thing to do is,sample worked in groups,and take each group one by one to talk with them.and the meeting short be short and straight forward,easy as possible for the employees to understand fast and go back to duty on immediate effect
Morning meetings are always create difference.
Tool box meeting is always in the morning before going to work.
Meeting and giving instruction before prior to start any activity is very important.
In my opinion better to have a meeting before the work start particularly in the morning so that our labour and foreman has direct information on what to do. After the day, if they need some information for the next days work or activity before going home set a short meeting for them particularly your foremen so that if any instructions from the consultants or our supervisor (Project Manager) it has to be given to them so that in the next day they will know what to do.
As Supervisor in handling, it is better to handle meeting before work.
