Yeah, the student version is like $ and you can only buy it if you can prove you are a student, but if you are a student then you can just register with Autodesk and download it off the website for free. So if the licensing is the same then why do they offer to buy a student version?
It just doesn’t make any sense to me. Besides I don’t see how anyone trying to do freelance could afford the $4, price tag of a commercial version without first getting some work.
So is there really no way except dropping $4,?
So I guess my main question here is what is the difference between the download version and the paid for version, and can I use the paid for student version for freelance purposes? Or would I have to buy a full professional license to do freelance? Any and all information would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
In my country, the annual rent is:1. AutoCAD LT 2017 - 400Euro2. AutoCAD 2D/3D 2017 - 2.000Euro
As far as I know AutoCAD is to be replaced by BIM, maybe it's a good idea to start having a look at.
I agree with the experts answers

I agree with given answers.
Thanks for the invitation. I have not used AutoCAD 2017 and I have not purchased it too. Roughly making a guess, I think it should be not less than $1000 and it is also provided in 1-year, 2-year subscription modes. For Students, it is free because back in 2011 I had downloaded AutoCAD 2012 for free using a student account.
I agree with MR. MD Anwer. more than enough
Thanks For Invitiation
