What are the two functions of different natures covered by the term "management" ?

It actually depends on how you look at it - If I were to pick two elements, they would be - Motivation and Control :-)

But, I do believe that the four main functions of management i.e. planning, organizing, supervising & leadership and control & corrections are different in its natures in a way or another.

Motivation: Organising and supervising to move ahead

Control :To measure result and take action

The two different type of functions covered by the "management" term are:

1. Management designed in the preparatory phase collects information necessary to give a lighting decision-makers,
2. Management designed in its final phase is characterized by decision-making.
