Are B2B or B2C companies more social media friendly?

In B2B marketing, I highly recommend search engine marketing instead of social media then LinkedIn as a primary social media channel for B2B.

B2C is more social media friendly, the nature of the communication channel between the consumer and the company he/she is dealing with is different then two companies doing business together, it also requires more effort and time to manage social media as it is considered a very important indicator to your brand's reputation.
