Thanks for your invitation. I think the project managers need to take PMP certification despite their solid work experience in the project management to have a clear idea about the real roles in the project management. I recommend that all Project Managers have to take as well other training courses as :
1- Managing project procurement
2- Managing project quality
3- Managing project communication
Agreed with expert opinion and like to add that it will help to to get better job on top of project management experinece
Thanks for the invitation.
No, PMP is not an absolute necessary. PMP certification gives a project manager clear concept of project management which in turn helps a PM to adopt a logical & systematic approach to project management. PMP certification acts as an added advantage to already experienced project manager.
Thanks for invitation
I Agree mr Abdul rahman
Not certified but atleast they should know the new things.
Thanks for the invitation. PMP certificate is very very essential for a Project Manager to have it. Although Project Management work experience has its own value and benefits but that work experience will never be 100% complete unless you have a PMP certification. In short, I would recommend every Project Manager to be PMP certified.
I would say that become a PMP certified beside having a solid work experience in project management is a big plus for you and it will help you a lot for your future career achievement. Also, I need to say, as an example, earning the PMP was my first credential I earned it. Then after I earned my PMP, I used the methodology in the PMI framework to plan well and succeed for earning the other credentials. All of these listed credentials in my profile title helped me to continue career enhancement and promotions.
