Let's talk about using recycled materials in buildings; I want that every participant give us an idea of using recycled materials in buildings?

Building with Waste, a new book about, well, you can guess, may not sound like it should top your holiday reading list – but, construction geeks as we are, we found its premise fascinating. Every year, human settlements produce1.3bn tonnes worth of solid waste products. The book argues that we could and should be putting this to good use as cheap, durable and green building materials.  By CityMetric staff

Dear Friend, Let me remind you that the first question to ask is " Do we need this building in the first place?". In the middle east there are cities with unoccupied high rise buildings with no occupants. Lets say the building is required to be built. The first thing we need to do is to minimize the footprint through good design, longer life, greater functionality, increased utilization (ask how may buildings are used round the clock? Not many but a larger proportion of the houses are) and use materials that are lighter, reusable at the end of the life and do not contribute to indoor pollution. Also, we need too work on reducing the energy use of the buildings (not only diribg the construction and use but also that is embodied in the materials as well as services to the building). We are, in my view, at the inception of creating clever buildings. The buildings of the future will be orders of magnitude cleverer.

The possibility of continuous quality control allows the proper documentation for various materials resulting from demolition waste, and it can be controlled on a mission and goals is to raise the environmental performance of demolition waste and economic feasibility.

This technique is based on based on concrete return to the original components of cement and rubble on the grounds that the waste materials are rich in calcium and silica who constitute the essential elements of each of rubble and cement. Where he focused on the idea of crushing - Classification of the legacy of rich silica, calcium and concrete cost and low-lying. Since the calcium-rich parts turned to the Commonwealth of materials, thermal treatment of the mix then composed Larry. The technology was developed at the Delft University of Tikunloggio and has been tested at the site of Strakton in Cornnkin.

for exemple:

retaining walls tires: when you type this sentence in 'google' you will see a very beautiful and stable retaining wall made of tires, so what an incredible idea that makes us earn money and protects our planet from the pollution that returns to us even at the end
