Q=M X CP X DELTA T

M is mass flow rate   [kg/s]

CP Specific Heat   kJ/(kg*K]

DELTA T for change in temperature [K]

m' = mass flow rate or volume flow rate which is 1 l/s = 1kg/s almost in case of water

DeltaT = temp difference between water in and water out temperature Normally keep it 5.5 - 6.5 Deg C

 

Thats the basic formula but always keep some factor of safety
