I Think ASP.NET Is in a Good Situation Because Microsoft Give it a great Support and the integration and compatibility Of C# Code make ASP.Net in a good position in modern programming Language Competition eventually ASP.NET will be written in VisualStudio With Its Rich Capabilities which increase Productivity
Its a big debate ...
it depend upon u and ur requirements....
many says java is more secure than asp.net ...but now asp.net also very secure ...
asp.net is easier than jsp ..
asp is best.
I don't know how many of you write that ASP is best ???
Never ever do compare between Open source and company platform (Microsoft)
.When you use ASP.NET you are restricted to Microsoft features ,
But when using JSP , you have rich developers communities . Also, you can use JSP in many way, Like (JSTL) , integrated it with JavaBeans, use other open source like ( Struts2, JSF, JWT)
By the way, if you use Struts2 ,JPA and Spring, you will find the life is too easy.check this site:
http://daysite.net/programming/jsp.htm
From what i have seen JSP is superior than ASP. Because JSP webpages have higher security than ASP. Also i think JSP is much faster than ASP.
Totly depend on Programmer that if .Net Programmer then ASP is best
If Java Programer than JSP is very best
Yes , Technology used is depending upon on the expertise of the technolgy to make use most of it
and Project complexity , integrity etc ..
Well, totally depends upon requirement and also to some extend depends upon the developer as well,
Quit intresting for me, because i worked on both ASP and JSP,
Being using visual studio for ASP development, it helps me easier develoment and ease of use of the tool and bein working with JSP i used Eclipse IDE,
what i found the main difference between these two are as below
ASP is not a free language because ASP relies on Windows and IIS; both of them are not available for free.
JSP is available for free. You can create JSP application and execute them using Apache Tomcat web server, all for free.
ASP code can only be interpreted.
JSP code can be interpreted as well as compiled.
it depend upon u and ur requirements....i think php is best
