Employee retention refers to the ability of an organization to retain its employees. Employee retention can be represented by a simple statistic (for example, a retention rate of 80% usually indicates that an organization kept 80% of its employees in a given period). However, many consider employee retention as relating to the efforts by which employers attempt to retain employees in their workforce. In this sense, retention becomes the strategies rather than the outcome.
And for sure any efforts or events - show that the organization is caring about his employee - will support the retention inside the organization. So yes for sure this will help and increase employee morale, loyalty and retention.
Good thing to do in office, it will create a personal bond between employee and management.
Can expect long term relationship and also due diligence towards work.
Not good idea because is not safety for child and child we can effective negative in work enviroment
It would be a brilliant way to engage an employee with his team and organizational as a whole. In large set-ups, it would be better to have such celebrations at the department-level rather than involving the whole organization. A signed-card with a small cake would be a very fond take-away for a new parent! :-)
Yes mandatory we should celebrate
It's good to increase capacity and productivity statement to the spirit of love and teamwork
Sure, Celebrating employees Birthdays is a good idea, remove stress and build a cooperation between each other, but gor sure not during production time .
No,it would be better if celebrate it at home at the same time you can invite your office mate to celebrate at home.
It's a good idea to celebrate the month's birthdays on a set date each month. This way productivity is not lost - people are recognized and also there is not an overdose of the same thing where an employee feels "oh no, not one more birthday to celebrate"
This Question is well linked with the organizations environment. As long as the organizations has long term objective of Employee retention, This is a great Idea. why??'
Because by celebrating an employee's Birthday you are making him realize how much the organization Cares for him. this is helpful to win sense of employees citizenship behavior. this drives the loyalty of the employee. This management is one of the key focus of great companies. and even if they are not concerned with the birthdays of employees they do try to win the loyalties of their employees.
But in my point of view Celebrating The birthdays of employees is a great practice to follow.
I think it is a very good idea. In most cases, employers want to build loyalty amongst their staff and are not sure how. In the same regard, as simple solution to staff turn over as an HR challenge has been found in staff motivation which may not be increased salary but such simple activities. As an employer, I would gladly encourage this. There is a way it builds family ties amongst work colleagues. Not forgetting, we spend more time at work than at any other area of our lives, not even with our families.
