How do you prefer to present your projects, Freehand sketching or 3D max and photoshop ?

I would prefer to present my project in 3D modeling using 3D MAX .
It is more realistic and makes people see it as if in the real world .

I use 3D to present them for the clients because of the realistic; but any way i always start with a freehand sketch to have a clear vision, and i keep it after that for my portfolio.

I would like to prefer 3D Max and Photoshop.
Freehand sketching was the good method but now a days everyone like reality and good graphics.
But before starting any work I would prefer freehand sketching for me to save time.
