 data is  the thing  as input of  a system that  you  have to  make processing to get the information (output)

Data is facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.

Information is facts provided or learned about something or someone.

Data is raw, unorganized facts that need to be processed. Data can be something simple and seemingly random and useless until it is organized.

When data is processed, organized, structured or presented in a given context so as to make it useful, it is called information.

Information is the data that has been processed in such a way as to be meaningful to the person who receives it while data is the raw material for data processing. Data relates to facts, events and transactions etc

Data is the raw material of information , so we reach to the information as a result from operating and processing the data
