nokia did not accept the idea that its a mistake and failed but tried to tradition without the presence of any creativity
Far too often, lack of innovation and failing to see what lies ahead is what marks the end of successful business ventures. We see that not only with Nokia, but with Kodak, Blockbuster Video, Circuit City and many more.
While Nokia did adopt many of the firsts; viz., front facing camera, video calling, SIP, etc, they failed in execution. Most of the phones were marketed towards the feature phone segment where they saw robust growth, thus failed to pickup on the changing trends in the sector.
The only reason people stopped using Nokia even though it was most trusted mobile phone at one time was they failed to understand that changes should be adopted healthily and not put in ego.
The time came when everyone was fond of the new operating system called Android. People wanted Android as their new OS they didn't care who is providing it. Hence, the TG Nokia has with them was lost now.
However, the new OS of Microsoft 10 is good. I use it and I like it above Android.
Nokia is seriously a well known brand in its times past years ago.
But now due to latest android technology the whole brand of nokia just got no reputational value to overcome the technology improvement in their perceptions.
Nokia got complacent in the mobile world, everyone moved on and they got left behind. They tried to make a comeback but the competition is too strong now.
Nokia's operating system is Windows and it is not user-friendly to use by a layman. To operate the touch screen, one does not have to be an expect in technology and systems. Nokia failed to understand this.
Back in the day, Nokia used to provide the best technology among all other companies. But then they failed to cope with the advanced technologies other companies started to introduce, like Samsung and Apple for example. Change is a definite thing that each company has to accept in order to go further. Another example is "Yahoo", the same happened to the company and now it's what it used to be before. Poor Marketing is also part of the reason behind that.
beacuse its too much old softwere
andriod and IOS is better the sambiyans
For the same reason why other big players, such as RIM with the Blackberry, moved towards a bitter destinity: they missed the smartphone revolution, and remained stuck to their ecosystems, counting on the loyalty of their customers and the power/value of their brands. Apple and Google proved that it takes ages to build loyalty and reputation, and seconds to destroy them. Then Nokia, ultimately, was killed by the Microsoft acquisition, and the attempt to couple a good HW with an poor OS. Now it's coming back, but it's no longer the same and will never be.
Well it's a bit complicated question. NOKIA was acquired by Microsoft in order to promote Windows mobile phones thus cancelling any plans for android devices back then. Windows mobile platform wasn't well received by the public though resulting in poor sales. Nokia is now making a new line of android powered phones but the problem here is that the android phone market is filled with device manufacturers so it will take really well built devices in competitive prices in order to persuade people to purchase them again.
Well , people find android more user friendly and better than windows by nokia.
