"Become a kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily,even if you had no title or position" or are you looking for formal position to be followed?

This proverb truly distinguishes between management and leadership in true sense. The beauty of a Leader lies in the fact that a person does not need to formally have a title to prove himself / herself a Leader. People follow leaders because of their approach and qualities unlike a manager who has to act according to the responsibilities and title given to him / her. I would rather be a Leader without a title and the title from people will follow which will be more worth than any formal title ever granted to me.

"Become a kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily" - is itself gives the title that prompted people to follow voluntarily. Title is the seal made by the effective leader. Being Indian, I can refer Gandhi who didn't have any title when millions of people followed him. In fact people gave the title...Mahatma

This is typically if you would like, to be a "Leader" or a "Manager".

As a Matter of fact,I do prefer to be a "Manager" on the strength of power, and to be a "Leader" on the strength of cooperation and coordination.

 

Just be honest and helpful to everyone around you , listen to them, motivate them , work with them in their difficulties and present yourself as a friend, brother , mentor or someone whom they can rely on and when they will have faith in you they'll follow you and do things for you voluntarily .  

"If you claim to be a leader, look around or look at your back & see if there is anyone following you, if there is then you are a leader but if there is none then you aren't a leader". Both leadership styles presented aren't bad either although the first one is magnificent (people just following you voluntarily). The only problem would exist if the people following you are doing it for the wrong reason or if they are forced or coerced to do so, that would be bad leadership. Thanx for the invitation

having a title or a formal position is something for personal use and for some people to fulfill their desire. 

I personally don't care about titles or formal positions, if I get to a point where I have something that is beneficial for my colleagues and the institution where I work and people follow my lead, i'd sure try my best.

The leadership of the people do not require access to a specific title or a particular position, leading people to the good and the right is my purpose and my demand.

Being a kind leader good for the teammates . But some colleagues take this social advantage ,sometimes benefits to the business

 

becoming a kind of leader that people would follow will be good socially. holding a formal position and let the people follow voluntarily will help both the individual to have a better living as well as benefit the organization.

Thank you for the invitationSuccessful and personal commander beloved that people followed without office or personal interest is something rare and if he found he had the ingredients for success and strong personal positive that people pay to follow unconditionally, either, which people followed because of his position or his money or anything else because interest always shake the people around him after the end of their interest and this not be a commander of any kind.
