A workplace is like going to school. You learn and study before reaching the next level. The only difference is you get paid for it. Just think of your manager as a bad teacher, There's nothing you can do but cope with it. Learn what you can so you know what NOT TO BE if ever you will be in his position.
It's always best to seperate personal from business, and if you ever have any hatered feelings or anger, you should channel those feelings into something productive in your daily tasks that would help you improve even more with your professional career. I know having bad managers can make you feel discouraged to go to work, but you must know that this could be an oppertunity for you instead of a dead end. Good luck.
To remove your hate to your manager is the key for your success as assistant admin. You can't perform well if your hatred is there it will destroy your day or everyday. You can't choose your own manager the same as you can't choose your own mother. So if you want to become successful to your goal then you must love your work and like your manager.
Honesty and discretion
Just unfortunate
Family and bosses cannot be chosen so you have to live with it and work
Always try to separate between the personal relationship and business, likes or disliked can be avoided if you concentrate on your daily tasks
Success is linked to the work environment. my point of view if I have no option to change, I would do my best to finish all tasks that i have, grab a paper and note down the tasks for each day in every morning and work on to finish those task successfully. in this way you will feel satisfied that the needs and task are accomplished and it will reflect in your performance too.
Do all what it takes at work to prove yourself effective and efficient. Don't do it to prove your proficiency to your manager.
hahaha nice question, if you want to be a successful adm. so you need to agree with your boss as he is more than experience to you.
thanks
Take few initiative other than your JD, be focused in front of your higher management, be in time every where.
Most of the time, open communication and honesty is the best policy in a workplace relationship. But, when you have a boss you hate, I recommend that you be diplomatic, respectful and try to blow off your negative feelings towards your boss by picking up and practicing any exercise you like.
