Do employees have recreation (Picnic) for more understanding between themselves?

• Picnic (recreation) facilitates the employees to know each other through and  informal  and relaxed setting.
• It allows the employees to know others who have no or very less interaction in official setting
• It facilitates team building and can be arranged as Post Eid Reunion/ Christmas party

The end result is that a well planned Recreation will have impact on  productivity.

Such activities provide platform where employees can interact and networking for more and better understanding. It is really fruitful for organizational growth and smooth work environment.

Recreation/ Picnic has several benefits for all staff of the company. It will create good environment to know each other and interaction and exchange the points of views in the various issues. the relaxed time during the picnic will help to strong the interpersonal among all staff and solving misunderstanding or disputes. Company Management has to adopt such Picnic arrangement monthly to increase the understanding and  knowing each other and enhance the team spirit during the recreation time or during the official work time.

Yes, a company picnic or christmas party is to socially interact ... know other people you usually do not  come in contact with and should show appreciation to all employees and it should be a fun event. 

At a picnic usually management barbeques other food and beverages are ordered for this occasion. 

The Christmas party is usually catered at a hotel or restaurant which can accommodate the personnel. Most the time this is more formal  (not only limited to food or clothing) 

a picnic seems fine but on the company finance sure thing and i guess couple of hours will make them integrate not to each other but i advise a summer camp for each member "including families" of the company for three days in a hotel at summer time (1- 3) days max.

yes picnic when arranged good will bring employees together and communicate in free enviroment  which give better understanding and some times solving personal dispute and dislikes , but on the other hand it may raise up some abuses and conflicts , it is really an art

Team building is an important part of company retention goals. Employee are motivated if they have a sense of connection and understanding of common objectives. Recreation and team building is one part of it.
