Important for leaders to have a good knowledge in conflict management , But that is not reason to make every one happy .
Appreciation to your invitation. I think when the staff should learn anything to increase their performance in the work will be more happy in the new qualification particularly when they should learn the Management conflict. This learning will make everybody more happy and very far away from the conflict and dispute.
Conflict resolution skills (conflict management) should be in the toolbox of every leader, but that does not mean that everyone has to be happy. Everyone being happy is an impossibility ;)

Especially true for consulting and small companies where employees compete for resources. Conflict management is perhaps the most ignored discipline in companies and most overlooked in project management.
