SAP is a best ERP for manufacturing company or service company?

Considering the high license fee and cost of implementation, SAP gives better ROI for the heavy manufacturing and large scale distribution functions. The core strength of SAP lies in these areas. However for Service I prefer Oracle CRM on premise to get the best possible functional features and value for money. Oracle Service Cloud is still to mature in the market with respect to the extensive functionalities
