Do you think conducting customer loyalty programs increases loyal customers? What will you convey to them through these programs and how?

Yes, it increases the number of loyal customers. Company offer them  a good discount  for the current and next purchases and these loyal customers become the voluntary ambassador of that company.

Example:

Travel in Emirates Airlines or Qatar and with so much facilities beyond your expectation, you will become the voluntary ambassador- What a good investment!

Stay at  Holiday- in- Express and any hotel of that group: You will  get value for money, will get discount in your next trip and you will become  honorary brand Ambassador

To increase customer loyalty does not mean giving discount or something free only but also giving the customers more than beyond their expectation

Customer loyalty refers to the engagement level of customers to the brand. It is a part of promotinal mix tools as mentiioned above as an example of offering discounts. However, loyalty programs has wide significance and various methods to achieve a common goal which is gain customer loyalty. A huge data base must be obtained from customers in order to keep them updated of new or exist products. Membership program can be very effective in term to make customers feel special than other brand's customers. This membership program offer exist customers a special discounts or free gift upon showing their membership card. Besides, excellent customers service can be a reason behind customer loaytly. Nevertheless, too much discount can cause lose of customer trust since it show unreliability of brand quality. Regards,

- For the1st., part of the question, I do believe "Yes", in fact such programs increase both the organization's market share  as well as their loyalty.

- For the2nd., part of the question, I do prefer to increase their loyalty through many incentives like, (accumulated points, especial discounts especially for new products, and quantity discount if applicable, personal e-mails for the customers especial occasions, family memberships if applicable, unpaid seasonable maintenance plus discount for spare parts, ....erc.).

Yes. Loyalty program is one of the strategy to retain customers along the way. It improves sales and patronage of the brand.This is a vehicle of the business to reach out potentials customers in which the loyal customers promotes the brand to their friends friends and family or relatives. However this program is an effective tool to promotes friendship relation with the customers which in someway both will benefits the business. By giving give- away, discount, points, gift, and of good service, customers will remain loyal and always adhere to a new brands of the business and their trust is great to it.
