A common factor that leads to poor quality products definitely shows that the quality controls and measures towards staff training, capibilities and productivity implemented are not effective. To correct this a detailed audit of the quality of production and current staff competencies should be done. This might lead to the retraining or replacing of staff-members that do not meet standards. To avoid this in future, production management should implace quality control inspections at all stages of the production line to maintain consistant quality production.
I agree with the experts answers.
Materialized using QC tools -DMAIC-DEFINE- MEASURE-ANALYZE-IMPROVE-CONTROL...together with process trainings, in this situations you will be able to tackle and filter the issues and how skilled of your staff are....Poor standards doest comes from the Staff only it considers MAN-MACHINE-MATERIAL-ENVIRONMENT.
A detailed TNA must be conducted followed by useful trainings to bridge the performance gaps.
