What is hotmail?

I am assuming that you are referring to HoTMail founded by Jack Smith and Sabeer Bhatia in 1996 and acquired by Microsoft in 1997. This is the first email service I used since 1997 until I shifted to Yahoo! and eventually to Gmail. Hotmail was eventually replaced by Outlook.com in 2013.

Hotmail was my first choice and since the day started from the year 2000 onward I am using it now with the title of outlook. Even I have yahoo and gmail box too,  but still first choice is "Outlook".

Hotmail is one of Microsoft’s most popular free email services. It is a web service by which any user can access it from anywhere in the world by the interconnected web browser. They should know username and password to access the Hotmail account.
