A network of clocks is syncronised by a master clock.

The System provides the precised time to the users who are gathering in a same locations(Ex.Airport terminals, School, colleges,Hospital) by using Master clock and slave clocks.

Usually it is used in Schools, Hospitals to sychronize systems. nowadays all it is IP solution

A master clock is a precision clock that provides timing signals to synchronize slave clocks as part of a clock network.

Master Clocks normally take one or more precise timing reference signals as inputs, then convert and distribute those timing references to other devices so their clocks are almost as accurate as the master clock.

Master clock systems are used in a wide variety of applications and industries including aerospace and defense, broadcast, radio, and telecom, network systems, financial services, emergency operations and call centers, and healthcare -- essentially anywhere reliability of data and signals are paramount.

Network master clocks distribute their timing references over local or wide area networks. There are also highly accurate master clock solutions that utilize copper or fiber connections for signal distribution of precise analog and digital signals such as IRIG, HaveQuick , and STANAG timecodes.

Master clocks can also differ in the source of their timing reference. It is a rare case for a master clock to be free-running and not synchronized, or at least compared with, an external reference continuously or regularly. So a core feature of all master clock systems is that they are accept precise timing references signals as inputs. Spectracom's SecureSync modular time and frequency synchronization system can accept over 14 different signal types to discipline its local clock that can generate a similar number of signal types to synchronize other devices. In case of loss of the external reference (or more than one for redundancy), the local clock maintains timing accuracy until the reference(s) can be restored. Several different local clock oscillator options are offered depending on the accuracy required during the "hold over" period.

An electrical system that synchronizes all the clocks in a building.

The main unit which controls and synchronizes the master clock.

the system contain of multiple clock/type have been connected on rank loop depend of the distance/no. of clock, and so all end loops have been connect to one master clock where  the recent devices (Master) will feed all clock the exact time and date if option supported by clocks.

the master clock connect to either GPS either to NTP.

simply it is system solution to synchronize all clocks to show the same time.

A master clock is a precision clock that provides timing signals to synchronise slave clocks as part of a clock network. Networks of electric clocks connected by wires to a precision master pendulum clock began to be used in institutions like factories, offices, and schools around 1900. Today many radio clocks are synchronised by radio signals or internet connections to a worldwide time system called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is governed by master atomic clocks in many countries.
