How to find on-hand inventory and perpetual inventory?

If the software is under Microsoft dynamic Ax we can easily abstract inventory from On hand inventory button  

Perpetual inventory is a method of accounting for inventory that records the sale or purchase of inventory immediately through the use of computerized point-of-sale systems and enterprise asset management software.

The On Hand Inventory (or quantity on hand) is the quantity physically present in your warehouse. The Forecasted Inventory (or future or virtual stock) is the actual quantity available, which is calculated according to the following formula: on hand inventory- outgoing + incoming.
