However, the delegator should access the scope of the work to be delegated and check understanding, capacity and capability of the delegatee to deliver the expected result. If this is not appropriately done, the delegated authority may be misused or result to waste of time.
Of course there is a close relationship because the successful director is the delegate some of his powers to serious staff capable of resolving the problems and to take decisions that would enhance the activity of the company and makes the step forward and the company must be imposed on managers to take such a step, so there are the cadres capable of managing the company after the current managers because the basis that the company continued need to lead the march of progress.
