For long term career in one organisation, what qualities should have candidate as well as organisation?

lt's more inclined to the employee than the company.l say so because most companies are a bit rigid and take long to change most of their policies.The person should be tolerant,focussed,set personal achievable goals,know their NEEDS and WANTS  so as to be good at prioritising their life.Basically that should be it.

Your hard work, determination, well behave and work oriented activities are the key factors to sustain you in any organization. One thing to remember is that you are working for any organization.....  Organization is not created for you. Work according to rules that strengthen the organization....  then you will be benefited more.

The candidate should be clear about the organisation's vision & mission & then assess whether his own aims & objectives can be achieved over a period of time. This entails a thorough knowledge of the organisation's career development & retention policies & work culture . Based on the foregoing the candidate needs to have the following qualities:-

1. Dedication, Drive & determination to achive the organisation's objectives.
2. A pragmatic approach to solve practical problems & suggest alternatives.
3. Ability to be a team player, accepts responsibilites, understands & appreciates his duties & accepts consequences.
4. Be accomodative, flexible & open minded.
5. Should be able to express himself & convey his thoughts & ideas clearly & concisely.
6. He should be a systematic planner with an eye for detail.
7. Should be able to make rational decisions based on accurate information.
8. Should remain cool & calm under stressful conditions.
9. Above all should always have a positive attitude.
