Which methodology should be used for science subjects?

There is a huge difference between method and methodology. Method is of two basic types 1) Qualitative and 2) quantitative method. while methodology is the third chapter of your thesis or paper. science student can used both qualitative and quantitative method because maths students need calculations and statistical data so they must used quantitative while bio student need description so they must use qualitative method.
